Task to do: read the menu of my camera

Before Nathan was born, Mommie decided to buy a new camera: Nikon D40. Mommie and Daddy did take lots of pictures using the camera, but no one has ever read the menu. We just used the Auto option. That's why the color is not that bright and lots of photos are yellowish due to low light indoors.

Today I saw a friend's blog, they really learned how to use their new D80 and the pictures are very nice. Even though my camera is cheaper than theirs, my goal is try to beat the past photos that I took. So starting from tonight, I will read the menu, browse internet to improve my skills.
