This is my first post 这是我的第一篇帖子

我犹豫再三，还是决定用我的母语中文来写。优点就不用说了，缺点是有些在美国的朋友不懂中文。如果想练习英文的话，就把每篇文章翻译一遍。
I hesitated on which language to be used when writing the posts. I decided on my mother language Mandarin. But then some of my friends in US may not be able to read. What I can do is to translate the post into English. What a good chance to practice.

其实是有每天看别人的博客，觉得我没有记录现在，我的记性又那么差，将来会不会觉得遗憾。Nathan 长大后肯定也会有兴趣读关于自己的“历史”。至少每个月写一篇吧！
The motivation to become a blogger is: I was thinking I may regret if I don't write down what's happening now because of my poor long-term memory. The goal is at least one post a month. I believe that Nathan would be interested in reading the "history" about himself.
